The papercraft "Going Merry" boat from the anime One Piece that I made in 2004 is still one of my favourites.
Hand drawn and coloured in aquarel like most of my early models, it makes the hull really look like real wood I think! ;o)
I had a lot of fun making the ornamental "ram's horn"-like shapes for the railings and the sheep figurehead (Luffy's favourite seat ;o) and the tiny deck cannon! ;o)
And of course I couldn't forget Nami's mikan (tangerine) trees on top of the cabin, and the futtocks shrouds going up to the crow's nest, which I printed on a transparant sheet for the best effect.
Parts and instructions to build your own papercraft One Piece "Going Merry" boat (and lots more now! ;o) are still on my papercraft webpage: [link]
I love One Piece too! So much I can't put it into words I would never have the effort and determination to go through making a Going Merry papercraft but this is just perfect!
