Final Fantasy Lulu papercraft2 by ninjatoespapercraft Final Fantasy Lulu papercraft2 by ninjatoespapercraft
I finally finished building Lulu, for "real" this time! ;o)

I'm pretty happy with the way she turned out! So now all I need to do is make the instructions, and then hopefully I can release her soon!

Stay tuned!

Not really, I think. ;o) The most difficult parts are the hands I think, because the fingers are quite small.

But if you pre-shape them around a toothpick (see this video: [link] ) they're not so difficult anymore either. ;o)

If you take your time, I'm sure you can do it!

Hey! What's on that bonus dvd?! *totally ignoring the papercraft* I never saw that box design either. Then again I bought it when it was a "greatest hit" but still! What's the dvd about!

Btw, I know you made a lulu doll papercraft, is it to scale so she can hold it? =o

Yeah, the "Greatest Hits" hits is the called the "Platinum Series" over here, it's great because they're usually a lot cheaper! ;o)

But the boxart on this one probably just looks different from yours because it's the European PAL version of the game, which has several features that the Japananese international version also has but the North-American NTSC version doesn't, like fighting the dark aeons (they're like superbosses!)

The Bonus DVD is just a video DVD (not a game DVD) so it has no new game content: it has some "making of" interviews, an art gallery, a music video of "Suteki da Ne" and trailers for Final Fantasy X and Kingdom Hearts.

The papercraft Lulu dolls I made are not too scale with this Lulu, no; they would have to be much too small to build I'm afraid... ;o)

Lulu is about 34 cm tall and the dolls about 19 cm.

It'd be cool if it was a movie dvd but any bonus free content is nice xD

Well at least the dolls can stand by her and look like they're attacking or something xD

I've been thinking to make some simple 2D dolls for Lulu to have sitting on her arm, but in the end I didn't go through with it.

But the idea is pretty simple, to find some pictures of Lulu's dolls online and scale them to (more or less) the correct size, print them and cut them out. ;o)

It would be nice but I feel like a simple cut out like that wud look kinda sad compared to the epicness of Lulu

You could try printing multiple pages per sheet for the dolls to make them smaller, but I can't guarantee they'll still be buildable when they're that small...

Or printing Lulu bigger, but you'll need a lot of ink and paper... ;o)

A bigger Lulu would be like her casting Fira on my ink supply x.X

Haha yes, they're one of the defining features of Lulu's character design!

When I was building the dress, it didn't really look like Lulu until I added the belts. ;o)

That's amazing! I can't believe it's a papercraft (but then, I don't know a lot about papercraft...)
Anyway, brilliant work!

Thank you! I took extra time to colour the edges with markers before glueing the parts together; that way, you don't get to see so many white edges telling you it's paper. ;o)

Yeah, I always liked Lulu's character design, and I'm pretty happy with the way she turned out!

She's about 30 cm tall, so if you like her, maybe you can still find some space for her? ;o)

Well, I'll download the model for sure, but I may wait until we move for a bigger flat to do it ^^; Hopefully before the end of the year !

Yeah, the beauty of online papercraft is that you don't have to worry about losing it if you don't have the time (or space ;o) to do it right away; you can always just save the files on your computer or download it again whenever you want to! ;o)
