I saw it, he looks really good; I'm happy you had fun building him, and you did a great job too! If you want, I can add him to the "hall of fame" with a link to your DeviantArt page: ninjatoes.wordpress.com/catego…
(it's just for fun though, no prizes or anything ;o) And if you don't want your Oni Link picture in the hall of fame, that's okay too of course! ;o)
It is possible to make him stand by adjusting his legs and arms (and with it the sword position) but if you really can't get it to work, you can try adding some weights to his boots, or glueing him to a nice stand.
Yeah, the look is something I *am* happy with. ;o) I had to re-model quite some bits (both arms, the hair, his butt) and fix all the other bits, so I was a bit concerned it would show which parts were mine, and which parts were still mainly Nintendo's. But it turned out great!
I don't know about "all the chatter" yet, I posted it myself on some sites and I'm sure several sites picked it up after that, but I haven't really been following it since last night when I released it, although at least here on DeviantArt a lot of people seem to have noticed it already. ;o)
Come on, you're world famous! Your models are that of legend!
Seriously, when I first got into this totally time consuming hobby, one of your Zelda models was one of the first papercraft models I saw on the internet, and I was blown away - I think it was the the King of Red Lions.
