Excellent work though.
On the templates, the oval part will be the soles of the feet, and the triangular parts will curve to create the "toes", glueing to the sides of the oval to get the result as seen in step 6.
After pre-shaping/curving, it's always a bit easier to see how the parts connect together, and if you're not completely sure, you can try it without glue first to see if it fits.
Those are pretty much the tips I can give you now, but I'm sure that you will be able to manage! ;o) Have fun building!
But yeah, instructions help of course... ;o)
are you currently working on another papercraft model?
They look great! But I'm kind of scared to make it, because I also made your Alice model and I lost one of the hands which took me forever to work on.
Cant wait to see it!
ps-almost done oogie boogie
It's frustrating to loose pieces of a model, especially when it was a hard part to make... The good thing is you can always just print new pieces, but the bad part is that you'll have to cut out and build the same parts you did before again.....
Anyway, at least Oogie Boogie doesn't have those small fingers! ;o)
I'm glad you like the model, goes to show you don't have to have seen the movie to like the character. ;o)
