There are several reasons why I wanted to make a papercraft LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker minifig:

One: I'm a big Star Wars fan ;o)

And two: I could use the silver/mirror metallic cardstock I found some time ago to make the hilt of Luke's lightsaber exactly like the "chrome silver" version of the 7140 LEGO set! (the trans-cyan blade I made using a printable transparancy sheet)

Once I've made the final build of the helmet too, paper minifig Luke will be finished, and once I've finished the instructions, I'll upload the parts and instructions to my papercraft webpage again.

Stay tuned: [link] !

I bet you can wire an LED in there to make it glow!

People have put LED lights inside their paper models before, so that's definitely possible, yes! ;o)

Looks nice. How big is it?

Standing up and without his helmet, Luke is about 24 cm tall, just as my other papercraft LEGO minifigs (I'm making them all the same size of course, so you can mix and match their parts if you want to ;o)
