It has already been a long time since I made Legend Lara, and I did quite a few things differently, most noticably the fingers and ehm, chest...

I love the left one! How tall is she?

I'm glad you like paper Lara! ;o) They're both about the same size, 30 cm (about 12 inches).

They are paerfect for our game (we made a big board game using papercraft models in aprox 30cm)

Thank you. I'm a big fan of your models. Indiana Jones is about 30cm as well?

That must be quite an adventurous board game, if it will have both Lara ánd Indy! ;o)

Indy is about the same size as Lara, yeas (his hat makes him a few cm taller ;o)

We'll need them in about 30cm. WE also love your Lulu and Sora models. How tall are them? This board game is very big (1,15 x 1,30 x 0,6 m) and they would fit perfectly in 30cm, but not taller.

I don't know if you can arrange them for us in 30cm. I'll try to resize the PDF files in corelDraw, but I think it would make a mess.

Lulu is about the same size as Indiana Jones, so about 33 or 34 cm. Sora is quite a bit smaller, about 24 cm.

Usually, making images smaller won't make that much of a mess (some small parts like the fingers will become a bit harder to build though) but making them much bigger can make them a bit blurry, because they are all raster images, not vector images...

It depends on what kind of PDF reader you're using of course, but the latest version 11 (XI in Roman numerals) of Adobe Reader for instance lets you input an exact printing scale: [link] and many other free PDF readers had that feature already, so you don't really have to scale them manually before printing though ;o)

Only if you want to make a paper model bigger, some parts might not fit on a single page anymore (unless you can print them on bigger sheets like A3), so in that case it might be better to do it manually before printing so you can re-arrange the parts on the sheets, and you could even touch them up a bit if they really become too blurry.

Thank you so much for your tips! When I finish some of your models, I will send you a photo with the board scenario.

Keep up the good work! I'm waiting for the rest of the Advance Wars models (I was searching for the helicopter and the transport helicopter, but you didn't make them yet)
ninjatoespapercraft Featured By Owner Jun 14, 2013
Yes, I didn't make any of the helicopter units yet I'm afraid... :o(

My plan is to make every unit from AW1, AW2 and AW Dual Strike, but it is a slow process because I don't have a lot of time to do papercraft, and there are so many units...

But one day I will make them all, including the helicopters! ;o)

thanx for the link! did you actually design and create these yourself? if so would you create one for the tomb raider legend evening dress look?
ninjatoespapercraft Featured By Owner Mar 22, 2012
Lara's design is from Crystal Dynamics of course, I just remade it into a papercraft model!

Of course you could do the same for Lara in her evening dress, but although you might have guessed that I'm a big Tomb Raider fan myself (so I hope to do many more Tomb Raider models in the future! ;o) papercraft is just a hobby of mine, so I can't promise you when or which models I'll do next, sorry...!
