This reminds me of a (very old) cartoon called Droids, starring R2D2 and C3PO. It's like you'r doing a 3d model of a cartoon version of a TIE, very nice indeed. Congrats!

Thanks, I'm a big Star Wars fan too (although I have to admit that I never saw the Droids cartoon, sorry... ;o) and it was a lot of fun to make my own papercraft TIE-fighter!

As always, the "trick" is to pre-shape all the parts properly before glueing them together.

The trickiest part was glueing the inside and outside together, with the main window sandwiched in between, but the ring around the window basically covers up any imperfections. ;o)

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! It's just a hand drawn model, but I actually kinda like that, and the aquarel colours give it a nice, natural texture I think. ;o)

very nice!looking great.
lol my printer sucks so on much of the papercraft i have assembled, i have had to hand draw the lines. i did a tie and it took forever to line everything up.
anyways your is looking much nicer and this one has great details!

I'm glad you like it so far! Papercraft is a very fun hobby I think, with so many fans making free models that you can download online nowadays, but you do need a good/decent printer of course...! ;o)
